 Conceived by former World Record Holder and Olympic Bronze Medalist, JanJohnson, this program sets strength objectives for the vaulter to accomplish. Like Jan, I believe that weight-lifting should be combined with vaulting and gymnastics. However, this program provides objective, rather than subjective information about strength to body ratio.
 Here's How It Works
The vaulter must first determine his body weight. He then performs the following exercises until he reaches a one rep maximum.
The exercises and order of performance are:

 INCLINE PRESS

CLEAN

SQUAT

CURL

Add the total of weight lifted and divide by your body weight.
If this number is five or over, congratulations, you are a member of
THE FIVE STAR CLUB.

 I have rarely seen a FIVE STAR MEMBER that did not vault at least 17'.
